Great value for money, spacious rooms, and excellent location near the Basilica. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful.

As the name suggests, the hotel is close to the Basilique (100m) in a quiet road (if you ignore the church bells!). The decor is dated and a bit old fashioned. Our room had a bath with shower attachment but there was plenty of hot water. Unfortunately, when we arrived, our room was not made up and we had to wait 10mins but otherwise it was fine. The hotel has a car park which is a bonus!

Decor needs updating but it was clean.

The restaurant was excellent , both the food and staff.The location was very good-near the Basilica and the beautiful river that winds through parkland. The town itself was delightful.No trouble parking in a nearby car park for free.

This hotel is a great find! it offers excellent value for money with reasonable prices for both the rooms and the restaurant. Secondly, the staff is kind and attentive, providing a high level of service. Lastly, the rooms are comfortable and clean, with a beautiful view of the Basilica from some of them. Not to mention the huge brilliant showers that are a real treat after a long day of exploring. And don't get me started on the breakfast spread – so many delicious items to choose from!

All in all, our stay at this hotel was perfect – nothing to complain about!
